Seek date of death and burial place of Lois Ann "SNOW" STAFFORD, widow of Jesse STAFFORD d. Erie Co, PA. Lois was b. abt 1784/5 prob. NY and had married Jesse
STAFFORD in Peru, Clinton Co, NY. She had come to Warren Co, IL with the GIDDINGS and STAFFORD families and it appears that they left from McKean Twsp, Erie
Co, PA. She filed for a widow's pension in 1874 as Jesse had been in the War of 1812. She states at the time that she was living with Squire John (S.J.) STAFFORD, her son,
in 1874 in Roseville, Warren Co, IL and she was almost 90 years old. She also states she was married prior to 1812 in Peru, NY. I am interested in obtaining the dates and
burial place for Lois and/or her son, Squire John STAFFORD. Thank you for your assistance.

I have traced my family to Warren County, the first record I have is
the 1840
census. Jesse PEARCE born about 1810 married Isabella JOHNSON MARSHAL
Aug 31,
1842 in Warren County. Their children were
Meatilda M. Pearce

Sarah E. Pearce

All the children except Ann and John were born in Warren County, the
family
moved away sometime after 1855, but some of the older children might
have
stayed in Warren county.
Looking for any information I can find.

I am looking for information about the PARMENTER family of Roseville,
Warren Co., Illinois. My 3rd great grandmother was widowed and married
a
man from Roseville, whose name was PARMENTER. The marriage would have
taken place around 1850, possibly a few years earlier. Her married name
had been COVINGTON and she had at least two children from her previous
marriage. One of them was my 2nd great grandfather, Jesse COVINGTON. I
believe she and Jesse were from NC. After her marriage to Parmenter,
she
had a daughter. The PARMENTERS are buried near Roseville. My mother,
who
is 80, remembers seeing their graves in the 1920's. Unfortunately, I
don't know the given names of my 3rd great grandmother, Mr. Parmenter,
or the daughter born after the marriage to Parmenter. My 2nd great
grandfather, Jesse COVINGTON was born in 1840.
