RICHARDSON, Homer Spencer was born in Alexis, Warren County, Illinois in 1883. In 1915 his occupation was listed as that of a clerk in a restaurant. His wife OLIVE, Ella Ermine, was also born in Alexis, Warren County, Illinois in 1896. Exact dates of birth are unknown. Dates of marriage and deaths are unknown also. They had a son, RICHARDSON, Robert Lester born September 23, 1915 In Alexis, Warren County, Illinois. It is not known whether or not there were other children from this union. It is also not known if either parent had any siblings. Any information that can be provided on either Ella or Homer would be greatly appreciated. We would like to have copies of any actual records if it is known if any exist.

I recently discovered that my grandfather, John L. HERSHEY, was born in Monmouth, Warren County, in 1881. His father, Samuel B. HERSHEY, migrated from Penn to Monmouth with his father and mother, Jacob HERSHEY and Ruth BRUBAKER HERSHEY, when Samuel was a young man (age unspecified). Samuel was a married Barbara (Ells) Swiler. He was a contractor and builder in Illinois and moved to Beatrice, NE in 1886. I have information about Samuel's descendants but would like to know more about his parents, siblings, wife's family, etc. Thanks, Barbara Archer

Found your page. I am doing extensive research on the Painter family in Warren County, primarily those related to Issac and Allen Painter. Would you have access to the 1865 Illinois State census? If so, what info does it contain for these 2 fellows? Any other Painters? How is that for a start.
Thanks for your help.
Bruce Nelson
